Day 840 New Bedford Jazz Festival 2014
The 3rd Annual New Bedford JazzFest will be held on Saturday June 14th  from 2pm-7pm  and will be a day of music, food and fun .  This great jazz festival  is a showcase of local musicians, artists, and food vendors at Pier 3 on the waterfront.   The musicians at NBJF represent a wide variety of jazz music from vocal led jazz to high energy funky jazz to big band. Best of all, the acts are all from the New Bedford area or the North East. In addition to amazing local jazz, the festival features displays from local craft and fine artists, beer from area brewers, and New Bedford based food trucks.

4:30 pm Shawnn Monteiro & the John Harrison Trio, Main Stage
5:50 pm The Monteirobots, Main Stage
Tickets can be purchased for $15 in advance by clicking here . You can also buy tickets at Bridgewater Credit Union, Symphony Music Shop or Your Theatre Box Office (508-993-0772). Tickets are $20 on the day of the event. Children under 15 are free when they attend with a paying adult.
The proceeds from NBJF benefit Your Theatre, Inc. Your Theatre, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer, community theater group in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Founded by Mary A. Smith in 1946, the theater has been in continuous operation since, and produces five to seven shows each season. The organization also offers an annual scholarship for students pursuing the arts. The mission of Your Theatre, Inc. is to serve the community by offering dramatic productions which embody the highest ideals of the theatre arts.
