Day 848 House of Music Children’s Summer Festival 2014 in New Bedford MA
The House of Music Children’s Summer Festival will be held on Saturday June 21st from 1-5pm in New Bedford.  This is great free  music event  for the entire family and a perfect way to kick off the official start to summer.
Family fun including a Michael Jackson show, games and prizes, pony rides, dunk tank, crafts, moon bounce, face painting, food tent and more.
House of Music is a community performing arts program by Team Builders Inc. The benefit to participants is both artistic and social. The Executive Director is Deborah Bastoni, The Artistic Director is Brent Tavares. Begun 8 years ago as a soical project for teens at NB High School, Deborah and Brent founded “The Original New Bedford Hip Hop Club” in 2003. In 2005, the organization recieved 501(c)3 nonprofit status as Team Builders Inc. In 2010, we opened our family performing arts center at 593 Kempton St. in New Bedford. We call this program the House of Music . All ages. A social and creative opportunity. All services are free to NB youth and families. We are made possible with the support of The Community Development Block Grant, Mayor Scott Lang, The City of New Bedford, The United Way of Greater New Bedford and American Pride Seafood.
