Day 898 West Bridgewater Park Day 2014
The 23rd Annual West Bridgewater Park Day Celebration will be held at War Memorial Park on Sunday September 14th, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Â It’s fun for the whole family: Live Music, Hay Rides, Pony Rides, Birds of Prey and Reptile Shows, Jumbo the Clown, The Lions Club Beer Garden and More! Â Free parking, free shuttlebus, free entertainment. Food, some activities and vendor items are not free.
Among the traditional events of Park Day is the annual duck race, which supports school sports. Tickets are $5 each and first place wins $500, second place gets $250, and third place is $100, with all proceeds going the West Bridgewater school sports booster club.
War Memorial Park is an historic park on River Street in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
