When it comes to winter, highly recommended visiting this place. The view is amazing. It’s cold but so beautiful.

It was amazing! The prize is affordable. The mystic forest light walk is beautiful. There’s tubing, slides and even a sleigh ride. You can buy hot cocoa if you get cold. Don’t forget to bundle up. Will go again for sure.

We saw a segment on New Hampshire Chronicle about the Castles and decided it looked interesting. We visited last Tuesday at the 5:30 slot. The lines were quite long, but moved at reasonable pace. The lines for the tubing and slides were about 50 people deep, but folks seemed to be having a great time. The outdoor walk was our fav. You have to anticipate an attraction like this to be like Disney—patience is definitely what you need to survive the night. All in all, we enjoyed the experience, but once was probably enough.

Omg. Where to start. It was like a dream. The ice sculptures are massive. Dress warm. I recommend skiing pants. Do go horse sledding. They are beautiful creatures. 5pm us perfect time to go there and get both of day and night time.

I visited the ice castles a couple years prior to this trip and was pleasantly surprised with how much it has grown. The addition of more slides and the walking trail were fabulous. My family of 5 had a great time.

We had a beautiful evening here. A walk through the enchanted forest was worth it alone! We went on a holiday weekend so it was a little crowded. However, the employees were very nice but firm about everyone maintaining social distance and wearing a mask. A great outdoor activity!

You stay until whenever. Make sure you wear snow pants. It’s very cold and lines move slow. It’ll keep you warm enough to want to stay lol

I highly recommend going after dark. It’s lit up and my kids loved the ice slides in the dark. Stay in Lincoln, around Loon. If you can’t find a hotel in Lincoln, you can stay in Plymouth and make the 25 minute  ride up to the ice castles.

Find a  local North Woodstock  hotel to stay

We love the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln! Can’t beat the views. Outdoor hottub and pool. We were the only ones there last year. Bring a sled too, there’s a small hill on the resort can go sledding. its 8-10 min away from the Castles.  There is  outdoor heated pool is great when it’s snowing. They also have an indoor pool.

The Woodstock Inn & Brewery is a cool place to stay. They have smaller traditional B&B type rooms and more modern rooms in adjacent buildings, many with fireplaces and Jacuzzis. I recall it even included a made-to-order breakfast at their restaurant.  The hotel has a couple day passes to use the indoor pool/outdoor hot tubs at the Loon Mountain resort, though be aware they are first come first served.
