Whitman Hanson Kids Fitness Festival 2016
The 10th annual Whitman Hanson Kids Fitness Festival will be held on Saturday February 27th from 11am-2pm at the Whitman Hanson Regional High school. This Family friendly event showcases healthy food and healthy activities that moms , dads and kids can incorporate into their busy lives.
. Come sample healthy food samples and drinks, watch karate, dance, majorette and cheerleading performances, create a craft masterpiece, jump on a moonwalk, try field hockey, meet the High School Team Captains, dance with a DJ, run through an obstacle course and much, much more!!! All for $5 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Panther Education Trust which sponsors grants at W-H High School.
The Whitman-Hanson Education Foundation (Panthers Education Trust) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), community-based organization committed to enriching the quality of public education in Whitman and Hanson. Since its incorporation in 2004, the WHEF has awarded grants to enhance educational quality throughout the system. These grants provided funding for innovative classroom projects, development of teaching strategies, special programs, new books and materials, improving technology and more.
