Get your Irish on this weekend! The 2016 Boston Irish Festival on Saturday June 4th and Sunday June 5th  located at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton.  

This huge festival will include the best of Irish Sports, Boston Irish Music, Dancing, Film, Art, Food, Song, History and More. In addition to all of the Cultural Activities taking place, there will be plenty of shopping to be had at the O’Connell Street Marketplace, book reading and sales in our ICC Library Tent, Genealogy Research, and a load of kids ‘s activities.

World renowned Irish performers like the Wolfetones, “the story tellers of Ireland”,
celebrating their 50th Anniversary will be joined by John McDermott who has recorded
more than 25 solo CDs which include 3 platinum, a double platinum, and 1 triple
platinum CD. He is also a philanthropist and was awarded the Congressional Medal of
Honor Society’s Bob Hope Award for his dedication to veterans’ causes. Many other
stars from other musical traditions, will gather said festival co-producers Pat McDonough
and Ciaran Nagle, founder of the Three Irish Tenors
The Irish Wolfhounds Association will display its fine assortment of dogs. An authentic
Irish cottage, built with 19th century specifications, will serve as a setting for showing the
language, traditions and folkways of Gaelic-speaking communities. And the Gaelic
Athletic Association will showcase a variety of Irish sports games. In addition to the
cultural activities, the Festival has numerous vendors selling authentic Irish products,
food and beverages, and activities for children and families. The 46-acre campus also
provides plenty of free parking and handicapped accessible facilities.
