Abington Celebrates will be hodling Oktoberfest celebration October  13-14th  at various locations in Abington.  Many organzations  come together to celebrate the fall  in Abington   Moms Shopping Survey Earn Amazon gift card and more  

Abington Celebrates Oktoberfest Weekend 2018

. There will something for everyone- most of it FREE. Church Fair, Car Show, Outdoor Movie Night, Not-So-Scary Woods at the Grove, a Pancake Breakfast, and a Sunday family fun day with live music and activities and food (and beer for the grownups). Other stuff too – check and share our listing.

Frolio School/Memorial Field/American Legion Building, 1071 Washington St. Sponsored by the Jeffrey Coombs Memorial Foundation, Jeremy Russell Memorial Fund and Sgt. Daniel Vasselian Memorial Fund. Featuring Joe’s Craz-zy Critters & Petting Zoo, bouncy house, kids’ games, hayrides and free rides and amusements.

Dog Costume Contest and Raffles: noon-4 p.m., Frolio School front yard, 1071 Washington St. Sponsored by the Abington Dog Park Committee. Best Dressed Stuffed Dog Contest (for ages 12 and younger) at 1 p.m., $1 to enter; Costume Contest at 2 p.m., $3 to enter; Flying High Dogs at 3 p.m.; raffles and items for sale.

Double Eagle Oktoberfest German Band: 1-3 p.m., Frolio School/American Legion Building, 1027 Washington St. Sponsored by the Abington Summer Concerts Committee. Free.

Beer and Food Garden: noon-4 p.m., American Legion Building, 1027 Washington St. Sponsored by the American Legion.

Abington Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony: 12:15 p.m. new school tour, 3-4 p.m. reception, Abington High/Middle School, 201 Gliniewicz Way. Tickets $25.
