BASKETBALL
Course description: Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, the basketball program will help you improve your skills and technical training. Join NDA Coach Nickie Orlando, her staff and current NDA basketball players for fun competition in a supportive environment.

GIRLS YOUTH SOCCER
Course description: Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, the soccer program will help you improve your skills and technical training. Join NDA Varsity Soccer Interns, who will be overseen by former D1 soccer player and current NDA Assistant Athletic Director Tess Weafer, for fun competition in a supportive environment.
Who should take this course: Open to girls entering grades 2-8.

INTRODUCTION TO ROBOTICS
Course description: Have you ever wanted to build a robot? No prior experience necessary! Students will work in small groups to creatively design, build and code fun robots.
Who should take this course: Open to girls in grades 6-10; space is limited

STEM MINI-SESSION: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION

Course description: Addicted to watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Riverdale and NCIS? Learn how law enforcement experts process a crime scene and gain hands-on experience with fingerprints, hair and fiber analysis, dental impressions and much more!

Course description: Ever wonder what it’s like to be a physician or surgeon? Gain an introduction to how the body works. Participate in problem-based learning taught in medical school by doing simulated surgeries, biopsies, suturing and more!

MUSICAL THEATRE: BROADWAY AUDITION BOOTCAMP
Course description: Is it your dream to be on Broadway? In this program, students will work with NDA Visual and Performing Arts teachers to prepare for a musical theatre production audition culminating in an audition evaluation with professionals from the world of musical theatre.
Who should take this course: Open to all students entering grades 7-10 or ages 12-15
Instructors: Ms. Abigail Russell and Ms. Stacy Dawson
Course description: For instrumentalists who play string, woodwind, brass, and percussion. Students will build on their musicianship skills in the areas of intonation, dynamics, phrasing and rhythmic accuracy through sectional work and ensemble teamwork. The week will culminate with a performance. In addition, students will be taught how to prepare for Massachusetts District auditions.
