Middleboro’s CrantoberFest 2019
The Town of Middlboro will be hosting Crantoberfest on Saturday October 5th from 12-5pm Come join the Tourism Committee at the KOA for Crantoberfest ! This is a family-friendly event filled with activities and fun for the whole family. Admission is $2 per car load.
1:00pm – Cranberry Bake-Off
2:00pm – Ms. Crantober Pageant
3:00pm – Costume Parade
4:00pm – Cabin Decorating Contest Drawing
Events include the great Cranberry Bakeoff at 1:00 pm, entries must be dropped off between
12:00 noon and 1:00 pm. All entries must contain cranberries and include a list of ingredients.
Entries must be large enough to allow 5 judges to taste. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be
awarded to the 3 entries receiving the most votes from our panel of distinguished judges.
Also, we will be crowning the new Miss Crantoberfest 2019 at 2:00 pm. Contestants will give
an opening statement as to why they think they would be the best Miss Crantoberfest
followed by questions about the cranberry industry. The winner receives a crown and sash and
gets to represent Tourism at various events throughout the year.
The ever-popular kid’s costume parade will take place at 3:00 pm led by the famous Alpacas
and multiple prizes will be awarded for 1
st, 2nd and 3rd places as well as for special categories.
The Cabin Decorating Contest is back. If you love cranberries and the Halloween season, try
your hand at decorating a cabin at the KOA. Cash prizes of $150, $100 and $50 are awarded
for cabins that receive the most votes from attendees. Decorations should be family friendly
and must be completed Saturday morning October 5th by noon. All decorations must be taken
down directly after the Festival at 5:00 pm. Winners are announced at 4:00 pm.
