Night of a Thousand Faces Returns to Weymouth This Halloween 🎃
Looking for a family-friendly Halloween event on the South Shore? Night of a Thousand Faces is returning to the New England Wildlife Center in Weymouth, Massachusetts, on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, 2026.
This annual Halloween celebration transforms the wildlife center’s nature trail into a magical fall experience featuring more than 2,000 carved pumpkins, each lit with real candles throughout the woodland trail.
And the best part? Every pumpkin is carved by members of the community, making Night of a Thousand Faces a special Halloween tradition created by and for the community.
🎃 2,000+ Pumpkins Light Up the Woods
Guests can walk the candlelit nature trail while enjoying thousands of glowing pumpkins along the way. The trail takes approximately 30 minutes to walk, with plenty of activities and entertainment to enjoy before and after your walk.
Inside the New England Wildlife Center, families can also enjoy:

🍂 Good to Know Before You Go
A few things to keep in mind before heading to the event:
- The nature trail is not stroller-friendly, although strollers can be parked at the head of the trail.
- Pets are not permitted on the trail, with the exception of service animals.
- Parking attendants will direct visitors to available parking areas. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
- The building is ADA accessible, but the nature trail is not currently easily wheelchair accessible. For specific accessibility questions, contact info@newildlife.org.
