South Shore Select Soccer
South Shore Select is a year-round soccer school which fosters a competitive, supportive and positive environment for young girls and boys ages 2-18. Select is a family-run, female-owned organization with a mission to develop strong and confident people through sport! Select teaches our players lessons from the game that transcends far beyond the soccer field with our off field programming including built in classroom sessions (building confidence, social media, bullying, champion mindset, etc), events and social impact projects. Our hope is that each player will take their love of the game and strive to reach their greatest potential, on and off the field. Select is proud of its players, many of whom have achieved academic and playing excellence professionally and collegiately. Come and experience the “Select Difference”.

Select Development Programs
Consists of Tots, Futures, and Juniors for players ages 2-10
Tots program for boys and girls ages 2 to 6 uses a variety of games to engage kids in physical activity.
We have room in all our classes – register and start immediately!
Classes are held indoors at the South Shore Sports Center at 55 Recreation Park Drive, Hingham and run year-round. Start classes as soon as you register! Classes are open and continually accepting new players – we always have room!
Tots creates self-confidence, promotes physical fitness, and helps develop motor skills. Select Tots coaches are licensed professionals and part of the South Shore Select coaching staff, with years of teaching and coaching experience.
Sneakers are required. Please bring a water bottle.
Futures Program:
Select Futures | Girls & Boys (U5-U8)
(Ages: 4 to 8)
The Select ‘Futures’ program is designed for our younger players offering Monthly or Year-Round Enrollment Options (July 2021 – June 2022)
The primary focus at this level is developing the foundational skills of the game of soccer in a fun and safe environment. Our players develop a passion for the game while consistently increasing their first touch and dribbling techniques. Select believes ball mastery far outweighs anything else at this age and we will provide each player the essential skills necessary to move forward within our program. Futures is a great introduction to club soccer and allows you to experience what Select has to offer..the Select Difference!
Select Juniors U8-U10
(Ages: 7 to 10)
Youth Soccer begins to identify playing levels by birth year for league play. Girls and boys playing within the Select Juniors Program are born in 2014, 2013, and 2012.
Our ‘Juniors’ program is the final phase within our U10 and Under Program and offers girls and boys the opportunity to compete in league play. We believe in an academy style program at this level and we focus on the individual player and consistently monitor their development so we can place them at the correct playing levels when they transition into our U11 age group.
Players at this level will work with different players and coaches throughout the year to allow for a full range of development.
We offer two training session options: Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday – choose what works best for you! Both are held 4:30-6:00 primarily in Hingham or Weymouth.
All of our “Select Juniors” coaches are licensed professionals with years of teaching and coaching experience.
