Lakeside Family Festival & Carnival Memorial Day weekend 2023 in Freetown MA
St. John Neumann Church is sponsoring their annual Lakeside Family Festival and carnival Friday, May 26th through Monday, May 29th on Route 18 in East Freetown, MA. The festival is back with all the fun, excitement, food, classic car show, and barn sale. It is a great way to celebrate Memorial Day weekend.
Festival attractions will include amusement carnival rides run by the ride company Fiesta Shows for all ages; ethnic and American food; midway game booths of skill and chance; raffles, Giant Barn Sale, silent auction, and home-baked goods. The carnival fundraiser will feature rides, games and food.

Monday – 12Noon – 5:00PM
One of the highlights is the classic car show, which is also returning this year. It will be held on Sunday (rain date is Monday). Registration for those entering cars begins at 8 a.m. on Sunday. The awards will take place at 2 p.m. behind the entertainment tent.
Sunday is also the day for the Annual Neumann Idol Contest, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Entrance fee is $20. Cash prizes to be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners. Participants must register in advance. Entry forms need to be picked up by noon Sunday at the Entertainment Tent or send an email to voicesintime@aol.com.
