Memorial Day Weekend Carnival Near Boston (2026) – Lakeside Family Festival in Freetown, MA

St. John Neumann Church is sponsoring their annual Lakeside Family Festival and carnival Friday, May 22th  through Monday, May 25th  on Route 18 in East Freetown, MA.  Held annually over Memorial Day weekend, this family-friendly carnival features classic rides, midway games, delicious food, and live entertainment—making it one of the most popular South Shore events to kick off summer

 

 Lakeside Family Festival & Carnival (Memorial Day Weekend 2026)

The Lakeside Family Festival returns to East Freetown each Memorial Day weekend with a full lineup of carnival fun for all ages. Hosted by St. John Neumann Church, this long-running event draws families from across the South Shore, Greater Boston, and beyond.

Festival attractions will include amusement carnival rides run by the ride company Fiesta Shows for all ages; ethnic and American food; midway game booths of skill and chance; raffles, Giant Barn Sale, silent auction, and home-baked goods.  The carnival fundraiser will feature rides, games and food.

May 22 (Friday) : 6pm to 11pm

May 23rd-24th  (Saturday – Sunday) : 12pm to 11pm

May 25  (Monday) : 12pm to 5pm
