Abington Memorial Day Parade

Monday, May 25th

Abington Veterans’ Services & our fantastic VSO Adam Gunn:
Please join and support our Veteran Organizations as they hold a beautiful Memorial Day ceremony at the Veterans’ Lot, at Mt. Vernon cemetery. The ceremony will be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th at 9:00 am.
Thank you to our Abington Marching Band for their support every year! An additional thanks to Cullivan Landscape and Construction for cleaning up the veterans lot prior to Memorial Day, and to Yaz’s Table Boutique Cafe & Bakery for providing coffee and pastries to guests that attend. Please spread the word and we hope to see everyone there.

Braintree Memorial Day Ceremony

Join us on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 11 AM at the Garden of Honor at Blue Hills Cemetery as we come together to commemorate and honor our fallen service members. A brief ceremony will be followed by light refreshments at Cahill Auditorium.

Bridgewater Memorial Day Ceremony 

Bridgewater will have a short Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony on Monday at 10AM on the Town Common to honor our fallen service members.
This tradition has been conducted in our town each year since 1863 as our town honored and remembered their brave family members, friends, relatives, and neighbors. Attendance has unfortunately dwindled over time and I’d love to see us revive this important community tradition of reflection, appreciation and gratitude for those in our town who gave everything to protect our beliefs and way of life.

Brockton Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Canton Memorial day Ceremony

Due to the forecast, tomorrow’s parade portion is cancelled! We will still have the ceremony at the American Legion at 10:00 am start!! Please join us in remembering those who have passed…

The Town of Canton’s Annual Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 25.
Please join us in honoring our heroes who have passed by marching with our local veterans to the Veterans Memorial Park for a ceremony.

Carver Memorial Day Parade 

Due to the forecasted inclement weather, the Carver Memorial Day Parade scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled.
While we are disappointed we cannot gather as a community, we remain deeply grateful for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.
Please take a moment tomorrow to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Please join us on May 25th at 930 AM for the Memorial Day Parade. The parade forms at the Sons of Veterans Hall (located next to the United Parish) and proceeds down Route 58 South to South Meadow Rd, left on to South Meadow, right on to Crescent Rd and lastly a right on to Route 58 going North. A short ceremony will occur at the South Meadow Brook Bridge before proceeding back towards the center of town. The parade will then turn on to Meadowbrook Way for a ceremony at the gazebo located next to Town Hall. After the ceremony at the gazebo, the parade will continue to Central Cemetery behind United Parish.
We encourage all to attend to pay tribute to those who have served our Country in the Armed Forces. The center of town has ample space for families to safely gather on the side of the road and watch the parade. Please feel free to bring chairs or blankets.
During the parade, traffic will be shut down from West. St and Main St. to Meadow St. and Main St. for approximately 1 hour. Please seek an alternative route during that time.
The parade will include members of the Carver Police Honor Guard, Carver Fire Honor Guard and department members, members of our Armed Forces, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, Cub Scouts, Selectmen and other local officials

Cohasset Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Monday May 25th

10:30 am – Kicks off at American Legion Hall with stops at North Cohasset Cemetery, North Cohasset Honor Roll, Woodside Cemetery, and Beechwood Cemetery.

Duxbury Memorial Day Parade

The Duxbury American Legion will be conducting a full Memorial Day program and parade on Monday, May 25. Ceremonies will be held at the following locations:

  • Ashdod Cemetery: 8 a.m.
  • Dingley Cemetery: 8:15 a.m.
  • North Duxbury Tomb:  8:30 a.m.
  • Blue Fish River Bridge: 9 a.m.
  • St. John’s Church: 9:15 a.m.
  • Myles Standish Cemetery: 9:45 a.m.

The parade will form at the Myles Standish Cemetery and will include Duxbury American Legion Post 223, other veterans who would  like to march or ride, Duxbury Select Board, Duxbury  Fire and Police Color Guard, the Daughters of the American Revolution and various  scout groups.

Easton  Memorial Day  

should weather conditions require a change of venue, the ceremony will be held at the Easton VFW, 61 Rockland Street, North Easton, Massachusetts, with a start time of 11:00 AM.

East Bridgewater Memorial Day Ceremony

Memorial Day Services in East Bridgewater on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., held on the Town Common.Join us on the Town Common to memorialize all those who have made the supreme sacrifice for our country. Patriotic Songs Provided by East Bridgewater Concert Band  Following the ceremony, the East Bridgewater Commercial Club invites you to their annual family style chicken barbecue held at the Peter Moskos Pavilion  Sponsored by the East Bridgewater Veterans Office in conjunction with the East Bridgewater Patriotic Activities Committee

Halifax Memorial Day Parade

The Town of Halifax Office of Veteran Services along with the Halifax Board of Selectmen will be holding the Town’s Annual Memorial Day Ceremony as well as a Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25 2025, from 9:30 am through 12:30 pm. The parade will begin at 9:30 am at the Halifax Country Club and conclude at the Town Hall, 499 Plymouth Street, at around 10 am to begin the ceremony. The ceremony will be held in front of the Town Hall.

The Office of Veteran Services and Board of Selectmen welcome everyone to join us in honoring those service members who have gone before us and celebrating the ones who are still here by lining the sides of Plymouth Street with your patriotic clothing and waving your flags.

Hull Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Ceremony Update:
Due to forecasted inclement weather conditions, Memorial Day Ceremonies will be held inside at Hull High School gymnasium and are scheduled to begin at 10AM on Monday, May 25th.
Veteran Corner Dedications to follow ceremony at respective locations.

Begins at  Hull high school and continues to march to the Gold Star Mothers Monument in Hull Village Cemetery.

 

Hingham Memorial Day Ceremony

Monday May 25th  11 a.m.

Veterans Memorial Park in Hingham Center. USAF Brig. Gen. Christopher Weggeman will be the principal speaker. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be conducted in Hingham Town Hall’s Sanborn Auditorium.

Kingston Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled due to rain, therefore no road closures will occur.
In recognition of Memorial Day, a ceremony will still take place at 11am at the Council on Aging building to mourn and honor the military personnel who died in service to our country.

Kingston Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies. Tributes will be made at each War Memorial in town, and a small ceremony will be held at Town Hall at the end of the parade.

Marshfield Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Unfortunately, due to the weather, we have to cancel the parade BUT
Our graveside laying ceremonies starting at zero 730 are still on and
Our Memorial Day Ceremony will now be inside at the high school gym 11 AM.
We encouraged all groups that were participating in the parade to please come and be a part of our ceremony. We will be presenting 20 Goldstar spouses with the medal of Fidelity.

Milton Memorial Day Ceremony

Monday May 25th  9:30 am

A wreath-laying ceremony at town hall. It will be followed by a march to Milton Cemetery for ceremonies.

Norwell Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Monday May   25th 10:30am

The corner of Main and Lincoln streets. Marchers will proceed east on Main Street to the Norwell Veterans Memorial Common, then turn south on River Street and regroup on the common for an 11 a.m. ceremony. A reception at the American Legion will follow.

Pembroke Memorial Day  Ceremony

Pembroke Memorial Day Ceremony – Monday, May 25th at 10:00 AM inside the Pembroke Community Center, 128 Center St.
We invite all members of the community to join us as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Please note there is a no parade in Pembroke this year

Pembroke’s Memorial Day Ceremony takes place on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Veterans Park (in front of the First Church of Pembroke, 105 Center Street). The event will feature a procession of veterans starting from Center Cemetery, music by the Pembroke High School Marching Band, and remarks from a Gold Star family.

 

Plymouth Memorial day parade and ceremony

UPDATE: 2026 Memorial Day Ceremonies
Due to inclement weather, the Memorial Day Parade and outdoor events have been cancelled.
Indoor ceremonies will begin at 10:30 AM at Memorial Hall, 83 Court St. Plymouth, MA.
We hope that you will be able to attend.

From Shirley Square parade proceeds north on Route 3A stopping at 1820 Courthouse Green, then to Samoset Street entering Vinehills-Oak Grove Cemetery, to Summer Street to the World War I Memorial Bridge over Town Brook and continues on to the Training Green.
To honor all soldiers, this Memorial Day weekend there will be 150 flags placed around the monument in the center of Plymouth’s own Training Green. They will be placed there honoring all the men and women from Plymouth who have fought for our country. The Memorial Day parade will end at the Green with a small ceremony and a wreath laying.

Quincy  Memorial Day Parade,

Due to the rainy weather, the City of Quincy Memorial Day ceremony will be moving indoors to Quincy High School beginning at 11:00 AM. The parade has been cancelled.

The City of Quincy Memorial Day Parade & Observance on Monday, May 25th will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Quincy Credit Union (100 Quincy Ave). The parade will proceed down Hancock Street through Quincy Center and onto Sea Street. The parade will end at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery for the annual observance. The observance will be approximately 11:45 am to 12:30 pm. Chief Warrant Officer Two, Nick Lavery, will be the program’s guest speaker. He is an active-duty member of the Army Special Forces, Green Beret. Mayor Thomas P. Koch and Veterans Services Director, Christine Cugini, will also be participating.

Randolph   Memorial Day  Ceremony 

  • Moved to Stetson Hall at 930am 

Monday May 25th

8 a.m.: Ceremonies at Randolph Elks Memorial in front of Town Hall

9 a.m.: Town of Randolph and & Veterans Council Ceremony – War Memorial, Crawford Square. Upon conclusion of the ceremonies in Crawford Square, all units will form up to march down to St Mary’s and Central cemeteries down North Street.

10 a.m.: Ceremonies at Central Cemetery (time is approximate).

10:45 a.m.: Ceremonies at St Mary’s Cemetery (time is approximate).

Rockland Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Monday, May  25th 10 AM

Parade begins on Summit Street and continues to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. From there it will continue to Union Street and end at the library lawn for a short ceremony.

Scituate Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Due to inclement weather in the forecast, the town of Scituate has officially cancelled the annual Memorial Day Parade. The laying of the wreaths in the Harbor has also been cancelled.
While we are unable to march through the streets this year, our commitment to honoring and remembering our fallen heroes remains unchanged. All scheduled Memorial Day ceremonies will be moved indoors.

From Town Hall down First Parish Road to the Lawson Park. Once at the Lawson Park, the Memorial Day Ceremony will take place at @ 11:15 a.m.

Sharon Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

The Town of Sharon’s Memorial Day Ceremony, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 24, will be relocated from Rock Ridge Cemetery to CareOne at Sharon at 675 S. Main St, due to the expected inclement weather.

The Town of Sharon will hold its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Sunday, May 24, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Rock Ridge Cemetery at the corner of East and Mountain streets.

Prior to Sunday’s ceremony, the community is invited to help place flags on veterans’ graves at Rock Ridge and other town cemeteries on Friday, May 22 at 6 p.m.

Taking part in the Memorial Day Ceremony on Sunday, May 24 will be veterans, the VFW Post, the American Legion Post 106, local and state officials, police and fire personnel, Scouts, clergy, the Canton Legion Band and the Sharon American Legion firing detail.

The commanders of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Post 106 will raise flags near end of ceremony and place wreaths at the World War I and World War II monuments.

Please do not part vehicles on the street side of the cemetery or on either side of East Street opposite the Legion lot.

Weymouth Memorial Day   Ceremony

Join Mayor Michael T. Molisse and the Weymouth Veterans Council for for our Annual Memorial Day Observance Ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2026.
The ceremony will be held at the Ralph Talbot Amphitheater adjacent to Weymouth Town Hall starting at 11am.
This event will honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in defense of our nation and its ideals, and their families.

Whitman Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day Parade is CANCELED  due to weather
