Sharon July 4th Celebration & Fireworks 2025
The Town of Sharon will be hosting their annual 4th of July Independence Day celebration and fireworks on Thursday July 3rd at Memorial Park Beach with firework at the end of the day at Lake Massapoag.

Thursday, July 3rd (rain date: Sunday, July 6th):
5:00 pm Red, White, and Blue Parade – The parade will travel on Beach St. to the bandstand. Line up at Beech Tree Park at 4:45. Feel free to bring a decorated bike, stroller, etc. Participating children will receive a frozen treat at the bandstand.
5:15 pm Fun family entertainment at the bandstand, including
A live animal demonstration, and
Interactive performers from Circus Dynamics
Ongoing activities starting at 4:45pm:
Sharon’s 12th food truck fair, featuring some of the Boston area’s best food trucks
Food and activities from local community organizations
Carnival games
Train rides from the Roaming Railroad (a longtime Sharon Independence Day Celebration tradition)
Photo Booth
Face Painting

6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Live music on the bandstand provided by the Dan Lawson Band
8:00 pm Pie Eating Contest on the bandstand lawn, sponsored by Shaw’s Sharon Supermarket – free to enter, with a $50 prize for the winner (sign up to enter at the main gate – must be 18 years or older to enter)
9:15 pm (or earlier, weather depending) Independence Day Finale – fireworks fired from barge on Lake Massapoag
Please note that the Sharon Recreation Department typically does not allow swimming at the beach during the Celebration after 5 PM.
Also, there is no parking at the beach at any time on July 3.
