Quincy July 4th Fireworks 2024

Sharing is caring!

Bay Pointe Waterfront Restaurant is coordinating the 4th of July Quincy fireworks once again for  2023!   This is the 5th year that they are doing this for the City of Quincy.  They do have a private fireworks event where you can get up close to seeing the fireworks

See 2024 update regarding fireworks With the 4th of July only a little more than a week away, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the fantastic times we had putting on our huge fireworks show these past 5 years for the residents of the City of Quincy!
We started the fireworks back in 2018 to celebrate our 20th anniversary here in Quincy and we couldn’t think of a better way to thank our guests for two amazing decades than with a fun and festive Independence Day celebration that ended up being one of the largest fireworks displays in eastern Massachusetts! We also strongly felt that the “City of Presidents” and its residents needed and deserved a proper fireworks show on the 4th of July and we were happy to get that done!
To all those who came to our watch parties and to all those who watched from backyards, parks, boats or elsewhere…we hope you enjoyed!
Also, a big thanks to Mayor Koch and all the city officials who helped us to orchestrate and plan the show each year.
While we would be honored to bring the show back again in 2024, given the current economic climate in the country and the annual $50,000 expense for the show production that we finance and absorb at no cost to anyone else, we find it prudent to take a break this summer.
We will be open for lunch and dinner as usual this July 4th as well as on July 3rd with a nice view of Weymouth’s fireworks. Summer is in full swing over here at BP and we hope to have the opportunity to see you and celebrate the holiday out on the deck!

Squantum July 4th Parade

Remember the parade is on Tuesday , July 4th at 10am.
9:00am at the Cannon the Robert I Nickerson Post will be raising the flag and the national anthem will be played to kick off your parade !
All lil Marchers should be on the corner of Dundee and Bellevue and see Judy Smith by 9:10am if they want to be judged to win a prize. This is a great way to get the kids involved , dress up your wagon, doll carriage etc. Remember it’s all about the kids and we want to give them a great event! They deserve it!
Merrymount 4th of July parade
The annual Merrymount Association July 4th parade will be here before you know it! Setup for the parade begins at 12PM at Merrymount Elementary School and the Parade steps off at 12:30 and concludes at Merrymount Beach around 1:30.
The parade route is as follows – Merrymount School on Agawam Rd., to Narragansett Rd., to Chickatabot Rd., to Norton Rd., to Sea St., to Samoset Rd. to Longwood Rd., to Moreland Rd., to Waban Rd., to Maypole Rd., to Squanto Rd., to Victoria Rd., and finally to Merrymount Beach.
If you live on this route – please do not park your car on the street during the parade!
We want to stress how informal the parade is – you do not need a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade float to enter – a car, boat, bikes, strollers, wagons, your own two feet, etc. are all encouraged! Multiple streets can join together to enter a “float.” Please talk to your neighbors about entering and let us know if you know of any other youth groups or organizations that might also want to participate.
