National Night Out South Shore MA 2023

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live during the  August . Together, we are making that happen.

We have several South Shore Communities doing fun National Night outs during August.

Tuesday August 1st

Randolph National Night out 530pm

Come out to Belcher Park next Tuesday August 1st from 5:30PM-8PM for food, bouncy houses, an outdoor movie, as well as K-9 demonstrations, Norfolk County Sheriffs Office Mobile Command Center, DCR Horses, and a few more surprises. Our Officers are excited to see everyone again this year!

Hingham National Night out 

It’s starts at 6pm. Check out the times here for face painting, Nona’s ice cream truck, K9 demo & Hingham Fire rope demo & much more. Super Mario Brothers movie will be on the big screen! Plenty of parking on Haley Field, the playground area behind Central Fire Station on Main St & Hingham Town Hall.

K9 Peddocks Hull PD, K9 Harlow from Abington Police Dept and K9 Starr from The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department will be there as well. If that wasn’t enough, we also have therapy dog teams from The Cohasset Working Dog Foundation to say hello!
There will also be a K9 Demo with Pedy and Pandia from Hingham K-9 Foundation.
And the COOLEST part is that my BFF Hingham DARE Officer Ramsey will be the DJ and Emcee playing your favorite songs!

 

Thursday August 3rd

Carver Police Department National Night out

Carver Night Out is an event designed to build partnerships, strengthen relationships between residents and law enforcement, and raise crime prevention awareness throughout our town.
Please join us on Thursday, August 3th 2023 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for this Public Safety Event at the Carver Middle/High School grounds. It is a night of food, fun, entertainment, and public safety demonstrations for the entire community. You will have the opportunity to explore public safety apparatus, such as an ambulance, fire engine, police cruiser and more. You can also watch live law enforcement K-9 demonstrations, participate in fire safety program and meet the public safety personnel of your town. Kids can enjoy a bounce house, rock wall, cotton candy, and other fun activities. We will have hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, soft drinks and ice cream, along with entertainment provided by DJ Mike Shaw.
Admission is free to the public.
The night will kick off with a public safety procession. The procession will leave the Police and Central Fire Station and travel south on Main Street and east on South Meadow Road ending at Carver High School

Tuesday August 8th  

Kingston Police Department National Night out   430pm 

Please join us Tuesday August 8th in the back parking lot of Silver Lake Regional Middle School from 4:30PM – 7:30PM. National Night Out is an annual event, common among many law enforcement agencies in the area, where the police department hosts a night out for local residents to come meet their local first responders in a casual fun-loving way. There are many different emergency vehicles to see, first responders to talk to, fun events for children, food/drinks and much more!  There will be refreshments, pony rides and a DJ.

Thursday August 24th

Milton Police department national night out 5pm 

The Milton Police Department will host a community event at the police station on Thursday evening, August 24th, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. It will be modeled after what the department has done in the past following National Night Out. This event is free and open to the public. It will include station tours, rock climbing wall, DCR Mounted Unit, bounce house, speed pitch machine, food trucks, police vehicles & equipment, refreshments & more. This is a family oriented event. Approximately two dozen members of the police department will be on hand to meet the public.
