Bridgewater Library Mad Science presents Fire And Ice! 1pm Join us for a science show with Mad Science. This spectacular show thrills audiences with impressive science experiments. The event includes foggy dry ice storms and demonstrates how giant beach balls can float in the air. We demonstrate fire’s use of oxygen to pull an egg “magically” into a flask! Students are amazed by sizzling, shivering scissors and special bubbly showers!

Plymouth Public Library Owls of Massachusetts 1pm
In this program, kids will learn about our local owls, their anatomy, and their behavior! Populating all but one continent, owls often introduce people to the fascinating lives of birds and the nocturnal world. This program will focus on the most common owl species found in Massachusetts, their significance in local habitats, and how to best protect these beautiful birds. We’ll also be examining owl feathers, listening to owl calls, and dissecting pellets to see what our local owls are eating! (Please note that there will not be any live owls at this event.)

Alien Escape Traveling Mystery Room at Plymouth Public Library 2pm
Join us with Big Ryan’s Traveling Mystery Room for Alien Escape! You’ve been abducted by aliens along with a group of your peers. Your only hope of escape is to work together, follow the clues, and complete each step needed to charge the escape pod. But act quickly — you have just one hour before the aliens discover you’ve broken free! For children ages 7-12. Registration required. Parents of children ages 7–9 are strongly encouraged to stay to help children with mystery.
Life Size Candyland for ages at Quincy Library 2pm Families are invited to join us on Friday, February 20th to play our giant Candyland at the library! If you have ever wanted to traverse through the world of Candyland, your time has come! Explore the Peppermint Forest and Gumdrop Path (and more!) to get to the Candy Kingdom! Try to collect all of our Candyland stickers and decorate your own Candy Kingdom crown. Come to the Children’s Desk starting at 1:45 PM and get your group ticket and number. The groups will be called in order on a first come, first served basis. The activity will run from 2-4. While you wait for your turn, board games and other activities will be available. Geared towards ages 4+, kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
