What to do with the little kids, toddler and preschoolers this week on the South Shore Boston . We did a survey on Instagram and we got overwhelming response to publish a weekly calendar. We will be rolling up all the fun going on each week!

Most of the library events are open to non residents! Chose a different Storytime or playtime in a different town if registration is needed we will let you know

This is a program of music and movement for toddlers ages 18 months – 3 years of age. Registration is required repeats Monday thru end of May execpt for Monday holidays
Braintree Library Monday at the Mall – Music theme 1030am
Today’s Storytime has a Music theme. Located at South Shore Plaza, in the Play area of the Food Court, on the second level. Miss Elisabeth presents books and songs. Everyone receives a Take-and-Make Craft bag to make a drum to play. Each month Miss Elisabeth has presented Storytime at South Shore Plaza on the first Monday of the month. Today is the last session until Fall. Easy parking and access, is from South Shore Plaza’s parking Garage near Target. Park on the second floor. Families can walk straight in to the Food Court’s Play area, no elevator or escalator needed.
Abington Library Drop-In Toddler Time 1030am
Join Miss Sandy for toddler time every Monday morning this Fall! Toddler time is 20 minutes of quick stories, songs, puppet visits, scarf waving, egg shaking, and a whole lot of fun! This program is best suited for children ages 0-3. Registration is not required. Our toddler times are funded by the Friends of the Library. repeats thru June 15th except for Monday holidays
Hingham Preschool Storytime (ages 3-5) 1030am
Monday’s Preschool Storytime includes reading interactive picture books followed by a fun and simple craft with lots of singing and silliness in between! This storytime is designed specifically for 3-5 year olds with a focus on building early literacy skills as well as fine motor skills with craft activities such as tearing, coloring, cutting, drawing, gluing, and painting.
Norwell Library Storytime with Marissa 1030am
Ages 0-5 are welcome to join Marissa for 30 minutes of stories, participatory songs, and fingerplays that support early literacy. Registration is required. Please sign up for each week you are interested in attending. repeats weekly except for Monday holidays end of April

Join Jennifer Lynn of Nurtured Roots for a weekly session hosted by Thayer Public Library for children ages 1–5 years old and their caregivers. Each class features playful movement, gentle stretches, mindful breathing, and time to relax and find stillness. These activities help children learn how to focus, stay calm, and build emotional awareness, all while having fun and building connections. Siblings welcome. repeats thru end of May

Thayer Public Library hosts experienced instructor Jennifer Lynn in this warm and supportive environment for parents and caregivers to connect with their newborns and infants through gentle movement and songs.
