What to do with the little kids, toddler and preschoolers this week on the South Shore Boston . We did a survey on Instagram and we got overwhelming response to publish a weekly calendar. We will be rolling up all the fun going on each week!
What to do with the little kids this week for this week We got all the fun activities’ and events! From captivating story hours to colorful arts and crafts, interactive playdates to outdoor adventures, our preschooler & toddler calendar is a gateway to a vibrant world of growth and development for your kids
Most of the library events are open to non residents! Chose a different Storytime or playtime in a different town if registration is needed we will let you know

Join us at Tufts Library as we welcome Sing*Explore*Create’s board-certified music therapists for 30 minutes of music and fun. Each sessions will explore rhythm through music and movement. This is sponsored by the Weymouth Coordinated Family and Community Engagement grant. Space is limited. Walk-in but only until we reach capacity, we may not be able to accommodate late-comers. Abington Library Drop-In Toddler Time 1030am
Join Miss Sandy for toddler time every Monday morning this Fall! Toddler time is 20 minutes of quick stories, songs, puppet visits, scarf waving, egg shaking, and a whole lot of fun! This program is best suited for children ages 0-3. Registration is not required. Our toddler times are funded by the Friends of the Library. repeats thru June 15th except for Monday holidays
Hingham Library Preschool Storytime (ages 3-5) 1030am
Monday’s Preschool Storytime includes reading interactive picture books followed by a fun and simple craft with lots of singing and silliness in between! This storytime is designed specifically for 3-5 year olds with a focus on building early literacy skills as well as fine motor skills with craft activities such as tearing, coloring, cutting, drawing, gluing, and painting. repeats June 8th
Hanover Library Children’s Yoga Class 11am
Miss Christine from Little Bee Yoga Co. is excited to share the magic of yoga with John Curtis Library families!! Partner with your little yogi in super fun poses, games, music, stories, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided relaxations that help to strengthen their bodies, minds and souls… We’ll bark in downward dog, meow in cat pose and roar in lion pose while we take a yoga journey that you and your child will never forget! This fun class provides a beautiful bonding experience between the adult and child. Each class is 45 minutes. The class is geared toward children ages three to six years, but all ages are welcome to participate. Please bring a yoga mat or towel.

Petting Zoo Day with Channel Homestead at South Shore natural science center Norwell 930am OR 1030am Channel Homestead from Hanson, MA is bringing their traveling petting zoo, featuring baby goats, bunnies, chicks, and ducklings! Enjoy hands-on animal encounters – pet, observe, and learn about these friendly farm animals up-close. Take part in arts & crafts and sing and dance along to live children’s music with local performer Suzanne McNeil. This will be a fun, family-friendly outdoor experience for all ages

Move & Groove Storytime, held on both Tuesdays & Wednesdays, is perfect for young children. This fast-paced Storytime includes fun stories, music, movement, and a big finish with bubbles! This program is suitable for children ages 4 and under with their caregiver. Gentle reminder: food is not permitted at Storytime. repeats thru the 2nd week of June
Quincy Library Children’s Concert with Little Groove for ages 0-5 1030am
Join us for a concert especially for children ages 0-5 by Little Groove. In this fun and interactive 40-minute concert, children ages 0-5 and their caregivers will move and sing along with a musician from Little Groove. Children use real instruments such as drums, shakers, and tambourines, giving them a hands-on experience and fostering a love for music. Space is limited and the doors will be closed when the room is full.

Afterward, everyone will get the chance to plant their very own sunflower seeds and take their pots home to watch them grow over the summer! This program is best suited for children ages 0-5 and their grownups. Our story hours are funded by the Friends of the Library.
