Barrett's Haunted Mansion in Abington MA 2024

2025

HAUNTED MANSION

Hidden deep in the woods, an abandoned cement bunker sits rotting beneath the trees—its true purpose long erased. Locals whisper of experiments, disappearances, and voices that echo from behind the rusted door. Step inside, but beware: once you enter the unknown, you may never find your way out.

OUTPOST 34

At Outpost 34, the wind howls through the desolate, ice-crusted corridors. The radio’s dead, the snowcat’s tracks vanish in the storm, and something terrible has taken root. People aren’t acting right — their eyes linger too long, their voices stumble over familiar words. You can’t trust the faces you’ve known for months. Was that a shadow, or something shifting beneath the skin? Every laugh feels forced. Every glance, a threat. Out here, there’s nowhere to run. And the worst part? You’re not sure if you’re still you.

Here are some tips

 How to avoid long lines
Plan your visit on a Sunday or Thursday, or the holiday Monday (*tip excludes the Sunday before the holiday Monday), or come earlier in the season. These nights generally have less crowds and a shorter wait time.
We also suggest getting there early (6-6:30pm) or later (10:30-11pm) for shorter wait times. Between 8 and 10pm are peak times. As long as you are in line by 11pm on Friday/Saturday nights, you’ll be able to go through both attractions. We have in-line entertainment, trivia, movie clips, hourly shows and more to keep you entertained while waiting.
We do our best to keep the lines moving, and everyone entertained throughout the night as part of the show. Please be aware that weekends, especially those in October are very busy, and may also sell out.

Here are the scary reviews of Barrett’s haunted House in Abington

Awesome!!!! Darkness Unleashed is unbelievably fantastic. This is our 2nd time experiencing it, and it was 10 times as good!!! There are a lot of haunted attractions out there, but this one truly takes the cake with its originality. You literally SEE NOTHING and in total darkness are led only by a soft glow of a red glow stick. You blindly make your way through with everyone around you touching, grabbing, yelling, pushing you through! It’s terrifying and hilarious all at the same time!!!! The staff were helpful and professional, and all around it was a great time!!! The quality is certainly there and worth the price and we will absolutely be back next year!!! Thanks for the scares!!!

For over 12yrs I have done my best to get here every year. Between the overwhelming attention to detail in the Haunts, as well as the costume design for the actors it makes you stay on edge. My wife and I did their Bite and Fright last night, awesome food and fun for Halloween enthusiasts. Thank you Barretts. No doubt we will be back again next year.

came out on a Sunday this year. They had a great new off call Fright and Bite forYou get a decent sized meal and two haunted attractions all for xx  it was the best offer ever. Only offered on Sunday’s  (offer this year on Sundays &  Thursdays ) . There is always a long wait when you go to this house. Going on a slower night was a better idea. My wait was shorter. They take pride in giving you the best scary experience that they can. The wait is the worst part but it is worth it once you get inside. The work and detail that goes into this house is amazing. There is a new theme every year I go. It has yet to let me down.

Me and my friend came here for the first time this year. We loved it so much, we went through 4 TIMES in a row. And each time it got better and better. We will be coming here year after year. Everyone is nice, and the actors are amazing. By far the most fun I’ve EVER had. Thank you for an amazing experience!!

This place just gets better every year. Both the house and the second attraction (this year “The Compound”) are very well thought out, with characters that are both fascinating and terrifying. I screamed and jumped and laughed all at the same time – I love it!

Great experience! The lights on tour was so much fun. The tour guide was so passionate and it made it all that much better!

recommend buying there RIP/vip tickets there lines were pretty long. but other wise it was an amazing haunted house. the amount of actors they had was incredible. we jumped so many times. the mirror section really messed you up.I really enjoyed that you didn’t catch up to the group in front of you. they did an incredible job definitely come back next year.

great haunted house. lots rooms with different themes and it changes EVERY YEAR! SCARY!! Best makeup and costumes ever seen-bar none!!

Great place! Definitely suggest upgrading to the bite and fright, $10 more per person and u get a meal! The only down fall is how long the wait is! We arrived at 5pm to eat first, was in line for the first attraction by 6:20, in line for the second attraction at 8:30 and didn’t get in until 11:50pm! Lots of fun but a LONG time standing in line
