What to do with the little kids, toddler and preschoolers this week on the South Shore Boston . We did a survey on Instagram and we got overwhelming response to publish a weekly calendar. We will be rolling up all the fun going on each week!
What to do with the little kids this week for this week We got all the fun activities’ and events! From captivating story hours to colorful arts and crafts, interactive playdates to outdoor adventures, our preschooler & toddler calendar is a gateway to a vibrant world of growth and development for your kids
Most of the library events are open to non residents! Chose a different Storytime or playtime in a different town if registration is needed we will let you know

Abington Library Drop-In Toddler Time 1030am
Join Miss Sandy for toddler time every Monday morning this Fall! Toddler time is 20 minutes of quick stories, songs, puppet visits, scarf waving, egg shaking, and a whole lot of fun! This program is best suited for children ages 0-3. Registration is not required. Our toddler times are funded by the Friends of the Library. repeats thru June 15th except for Monday holidays

Join Ms. Tory for a storytime full of music and dancing located in the Keys Room on the Lower Level of the Library. repeats thru the end of June
Cohasset Library Movement & Mindfulness – Requires Registration 1030am Learn to connect mind and body through storytelling, breathwork and games in this Movement and Mindfulness series designed for young children and their families. In this weekly program, we will read stories, stretch and move our bodies through play, as well as learn to breathe deeply, all in an effort to establish connection with others and peace within. Ages 4 and under with caregiver.
Norwell Brick Builders 330pm Drop by the Children’s Studio after school and build with our Legos! Please leave your own Legos at home. Best for children age 6 and up, caregivers must remain in the library. Repeats thru end of May
Hanson Library Playdough Playtime (Ages 2-5) 4pm
Drop in every other Tuesday at 4:00pm to play with homemade, taste-safe playdough! Engage in sensory play, meet new friends, and sculpt a playdough masterpiece!

Family Movement and Mindfulness at Braintree Library 1015am
Join Jennifer Lynn of Nurtured Roots for a weekly session hosted by Thayer Public Library for children ages 1–5 years old and their caregivers. Each class features playful movement, gentle stretches, mindful breathing, and time to relax and find stillness. These activities help children learn how to focus, stay calm, and build emotional awareness, all while having fun and building connections. Siblings welcome. repeats thru end of May

Children ages 2-5 accompanied by an adult are invited to a free playtime session at the North Quincy Library! This program will be full of age appropriate toys and sensory activities that are great for developing fine and gross motor skills.
Baby and Me Movement and Mindfulness In 11am
Thayer Public Library hosts experienced instructor Jennifer Lynn in this warm and supportive environment for parents and caregivers to connect with their newborns and infants through gentle movement and songs. Class is for newborn babies to pre-crawling with their parent or caregiver. No registration needed. Program is free. Weekly program is made possible through the use of State Aid to Public Library Funds repeats thru end of May
Storytime with Ms Sarah at Cohasset Library 130pm Join Ms. Sarah every Wednesday afternoon for songs and stories. A coloring page or small activity will be provided while supplies last. All are welcome, no registration required! repeats Wednesday thru May
Live Reptile Show at All American Assisted Living Hanson 2pm The Hanson Public Library and All American Assisted Living are partnering on a fun family event! Children of all ages are invited to a Live Reptile Show presented by Amazing Animal Ambassadors. Join us for this exciting intergenerational event, and meet some cool animals!
Preschool Discovery @Adams Shore Quincy library branch 3pm
Drop by the Adams Shore Library with your preschooler, ages 3-5, any time between 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to do some fun simple science together. Activities, experiments and instructions will be provided for science you can do with your child.
