INNOVATION
Your camper will unleash the power of the claw as they make their own mechanical claw machine complete with unique prizes that they create! They’ll discover hands-on physics, explore animals with claws and become an entrepreneur.

CREATIVITY
Embracing their curiosity, your camper will uncover the science behind optical illusions in art, movies, attractions, theater and animation. They’ll design and test various illusions and invent their own moving props to become a special effects expert!

PROBLEM SOLVING
Your camper will rev up for the ultimate road trip complete with their own transmitter and receiver, custom dashboard and travel map! As an innovative traveler, they’ll choose their own path and invent their way out of bumps in the road.

PERSISTENCE
Embarking on an eco-expedition, your camper will investigate penguins and the ice and snow of Antarctica. With their imagination and the help of a robotic assistant, they’ll develop penguin and planet-saving prototypes!

Camp Clark YMCA Plymouth 

Camp Clark provides quality traditional day camping experiences that aim to help children grow in spirit, mind and body. All programs are designed to teach the four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

CAMP CLARK OFFERINGS…
ROPES COURSE
Lead by trained instructors, youth develop confidence, teamwork, and cooperation. The course includes logs, swings, tires, ropes and cables; with both high and low elements. This course is inspected and certified annually.

SWIMMING
Using Hyles Pond, campers take part in two free swim periods daily. A team of certified lifeguards closely monitor the swimming areas. Water safety is our top priority.

ARCHERY
Certified staff teaches basic skills and proper safety procedures.

ARTS AND CRAFTS
A variety of exciting projects are planned and may include tie-dying, gimp and much more.

SPORTS
Emphasis is on active participation and includes basketball, soccer, t-ball, four square, and much more.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE
Build a fort, hike a trail, and learn survival skills. These are just a few of the activities you will find in this activity.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
Learn about what makes up the natural components of Camp Clark. Identify trees, collect bugs, fish in the pond and much more.

Do you offer transportation?
Yes! We currently offer several routes for surrounding areas to help get your kids to camp for a fee. Looking for our bus routes? Bus schedules will be uploaded digitally once complete.

Most YMCA summer camps have financial assistance and are also eligible for vouchers.

Plymouth rec does offer scholarships if you need it apply soon 

The Plymouth Recreation Department (Plymouth, Mass.) offers a variety of  summer and programs throughout the summer includes Flag football, tennis,  baseball, arts & crafts, science programs,. Non residents are allowed at some of the programs there is an non resident fee

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
All of our programs are self-supporting. If you have financial  issues prohibiting your child from participating in our programs,
please give us a call; we will try and do everything to make sure they participate in our program

WEST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Our half-day playground program is one of the most popular programs our department offers. You can count on our Playground
program to be there for your child every morning this summer, weather permitting. Children will have the opportunity to
participate in a variety of different activities including baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer, street hockey, fl ag football, dodgeball,
kickball, playground and arts & crafts. The half-day program consists of three 45 minute sessions. In every session children can
choose a new activity.

HEDGES POND
This state of the art facility has adjustable basketball nets, a soccer fi eld, an arts and crafts area and much more! You can count  on our playground program to be there for your child every morning this summer, weather permitting. Children will have the  opportunity to participate in a variety of diff erent activities including baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer, street hockey, Gaga Pit   and arts & crafts. The half-day program consists of three 45 minute sessions. In every session children choose a new activity.

SUMMER NFL FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE AGES 5-13
We are bringing our most popular league to the summer! Join
us for a shortened competitive fl ag football league that teaches
fundamentals, competitiveness and most importantly…good
sportsmanship. Teams typically practice at least once a week and
play one game a week.

Dates: Wednesday July 2nd – July 30th
(4 regular season games, 1 week of playoffs for ages 7+)
Location: Forges Football Practice Field (83 Jordan Rd)
Fee: $85 per child (includes NFL flag football jersey)
Ages 5-6 practice/game time: 5:00p *No playoffs”

SOCCER CLINIC AGES 6-12
New England Futsal has partnered with the Plymouth Rec
Dept. to bring its fantastic and modern soccer clinic this
July to Plymouth! Our modern soccer clinic focuses on the
cognitive capacity of children as they develop their motor
and soccer skills through smart games. Emphasis will be on
core techniques such as how to beat the opponent, cognitive
soccer games, 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 3 v 2, 4 v 4, while focusing on
positional and team play.
Date: Monday July 14th-Thursday July 17th

Time: 9:00a-12:30p

ANIMATION FLIX AGES 7-13
In this fast-paced class, you’ll create up to five new stop
motion movies using a different medium each day! Animate
with ducks, with green screen, and new for 2025 film with
anime characters! All flix will be professionally edited and
downloadable within a month after program ends.

MINECRAFT MOVIE FLIX AGES 7-13
Make a Minecraft Stop Motion MOVIE with your favorite
Minecraft Characters! Working in age-appropriate groups,
bring Steve, the creepers, and more to life. Students will
write, storyboard, create sets out of construction paper,
make their Minecraft blocks, film, animate some cool effects,
and do voice-overs! All flix will be professionally edited and
downloadable within a month after program ends.

Boys & Girls Club Smarter Brain  Camp 

Smarter Fun “Brain Gain” Summer Camp is for children ages 6 to 13.
Camp operates Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

We provide morning and afternoon snacks and a healthy 5-part lunch.

SUMMER 2025-  Dates: June 18 – August 22, 2025

Camp will be closed on June 19th and July 4th

Daily activities include art, science, Games Room, computer lab, physical activities in the gym, social recreation outside (weather permitting), quiet reading, social recreation in our Teen Center for campers ages 11-13, as well as field trips throughout the week.

Camp Bournedale’s

Camp Bournedale’s day camp promises to be a popular addition to the local Plymouth – Cape Cod camp scene. Boys age 8 to 14, can enjoy the spectacular amenities that have long been featured at Camp Bournedale’s renowned facilities from Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm, transportation is available.

Campers will enjoy all the amenities available at Camp Bournedale, including excellent waterfront programs with Red Cross certified swim instruction, tubing, knee boarding, waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing and kayaking.

Team sports including soccer, lacrosse, flag football, street hockey are featured. Optional golf activites, including instruction at Atlantic Country Club, allows campers to golf daily at 1 of 3 local courses. Greens fees incur an additional minimal charge.

Individual activities include fishing on Great Herring Pond from our pontoon boat, outstanding tennis instruction and sports competition., Lunch will be served to all campers and is included. Arts and crafts, rocketry, model building and soap box derby are also available.

Escape into the action at Camp Wind-in-the-Pines. Test your skills at our state-of-the-art challenge and adventure facility. Scale our 20-foot rock face wall or try a different spin on climbing in the bouldering cave. See camp from a new angle on the 35-foot high ropes course or perfect your teamwork closer to the ground on the low ropes course. Explore historic Plymouth and southeastern Massachusetts on exciting day trips or enhance your day camp experience with optional overnights. Plus, every week you’ll have the chance to enjoy a wide variety of activities like art, cooking, swimming or boating in Gallows Pond, drama, games and more!

Billington Sea Kayak Shop in Plymouth

Waiting for 2024 schedule

The three-session youth SUP camp at Billington Sea Kayak is a great summer activity for active children (ages 8-16) interested in trying something new! Participants will learn the fundamentals of Stand-up Paddleboarding including safety, board handling, and various stroke techniques while taking part in various on-the-water games and challenges. The quiet waters of Billington Sea offer the ideal location for participants to safely enjoy their first SUP experience with our ACA-trained staff!

Price includes three (3) 90-minutes sessions of on-the-water instruction and all gear (SUP board, paddle, lifejacket). No prior SUP experience required but participants should be comfortable on the water. We require that all participants be dressed appropriately for class with closed-toe water shoes. Cancellations made by our staff due to heavy rain or high winds will be made up on the Thursday of each session.
