Day 313 Remicks Restaurant & Lounge in Quincy MA

Sharing is caring!

Unfortunately Remicks Restaurant in Quincy closed in the summer of 2013. If you are looking for a Quincy Square Restuarant there are a few other options  Alba’s and Fuji

Remicks Restaurant in Quincy opened earlier this year  doning the name of popular  department  store in Quincy square as well as in the spot where the Finian’s restaurant and pub was. However it is new   modern restaurant and lounge that bears little resemblance to the neighborhood pub it  replaced.  Traditional food and atmosphere with a distinct nod to Quincy’s historic past. With a stylish bistro atmosphere, Remick’s brings back a bit of old Quincy with historic murals and artwork complementing the modern design. Natural woods, leather and fabrics add to the comfortable atmosphere. Swanky is how some have described it!

The menu is unique from Chef Marc Orfaly and you will think you are at one of downtown Boston finest restaurants.  As for entrees, Remick’s offers Italian food classics like the cheesy fried eggplant lasagna and marinated steak tips hot off of the grill. Or try the Shrimp and grits.   The have a whole selection of angus burgers with some many different toppings  which will make you drool they are just that good.   They have a bacon appetizer while not good for your heart is certainly good for your soul.

They have live  music in the lounge area on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.  Some of New England’s best bands for live jazz, classic rock and the blues.  What a great way to  hang out after a long week at work.

This is a great place for a couple to have great date night, a girls night out and listen to some music.  I wouldn’t recommend taking the kids here as there is no chicken nuggets on the menu.

They are opened Monday through Saturday 4pm-1ma and Sundays 11:00  They now serve brunch on Sundays starting at 11am .  They usually will have the Pats game on Sundays.
