The South Street Gallery is an outgrowth of a forty-year family business offering fine art, framing, art appraisals and art restorations.

Upcoming shows
Their upcoming exhibit will feature works of three artists – sisters, originally from Hingham, MA, coming home to show their life’s work: Alison Hill – plein air painter, Melanie Hill Preston – jewelry designer and Suzanne Hill – ceramic artist.
The opening reception will take place at the South Street Gallery on Friday, November 11, from 6 to 9 pm. Refreshments will be served, and visitors will have a chance to meet the artists at that time. The exhibit will be on display until Thursday, December 8, 2011.

SMALL PAINTING SHOW
Over 30 regional painters participate in our popular “Small Painting Show”, always around Christmas time. Each invited artist submits up to two small paintings of local scenes, landscapes and still-lives no larger than11 inches by 14 inches. There is always up to 100 to choose from. Our goal is to offer “affordable” gifts for the holidays.
