Day 485 Christmas in Columbia Square in Weymouth MA

The annual Christmas in Columbia Square  in Weymouth celebration will be held on  Saturday  evening December  8 2012  from 4-7 p.m. The great evening of holiday fund is hosted by the Columbian Square business association. 

The family friendly Christmas event  will include free pictures with Santa, a tree lighting, face painting, trolley rides, a scavenger hunt and give-a-ways,  There will be Christmas Caroling on the Fogg library lawn.   While you are in the square maybe visit Bob’s Muffin shop for a treat or maybe you are looking for some new jewelry for someone special  at Synder’s  Jewelry

The Columbian Square association will also be collecting gifts for local non profits organizations including Toys for Tots

The Columbian Square Business Association (CSBA) consists of over 40 businesses and professionals within Columbian Square, South Weymouth. The CSBA’s mission is to create a better living, shopping and working experience in Columbian Square for the Square’s clients, customers and employees.

Since re-organizing in 2008, the group has made several efforts to improve Columbian Square and to add as many community events and activities as possible. They have also established new relationships with the Mayor’s office, Town Hall Departments and other area civic organizations.
