Day 581 Whitman Spring Winterfest Carnival 2013
It’s that time of year – the carnival is coming to town! The Whitman  Spring  Winterfest  Carnival will be held  Thursday June 6th  through Sunday,  June 9th  at the Legions Field on Essex Street in Whitman.   There will be fireworks on Saturday evening when the carnival ends for the day.  it is a highlight of the carnival! 
The carnival fundraiser will feature amusement  rides, games and food. Featured rides this year include the Arctic Blast, berry , and the Vertigo along with many more exciting carnival rides.   This annual June carnival raises money for the  Whitman Winterfest a great tradition in this small South Shore Town.   Hours for the carnival will be 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, 6 to 10 p.m. Friday,  1pm to 10 p.m. Saturday and 1pm  to 5 p.m. Sunday.
