Mom Tip  I hosted a fun birthday party for my then 7 yr old   at Whitman Park one day its huge its got a playground, and plenty of space for running around.  I had a some wiffle balls and bats  I brought cup cakes, instead of a large cake plus juice boxes.   Kids are kids and they seemed happy.   I didnt do any party decorations   I only had 10 kids plus some parents and a few siblings. I not sure if I needed to contact the town of Whitman but no one said a thing
