Join Mary Wilson of Pitter Patter Puppets at the Main Library on Monday June 10th at 10:00 and then again at 11:00 for a puppet storytime for children ages 2-6 accompanied by an adult.
Ms. Wilson’s shows are always highly interactive, inventive and extremely funny. The zany antics of Mary and her puppet friends are sure to bring a smile to your face.
Please be aware the same show will be happening at both 10:00 and 11:00 so pick which ever time is most convenient for you and your child.
Toddler Storytime at Pembroke Library 1030am repeats weekly thru the end of June
Abington Library 1030am Toddler time is continuing on Monday morning! Join Miss Sandy (or Miss Heidi or Mrs. Grimmett) on Monday morning at 10:30 AM for a few short stories, songs, puppet visits, egg shaking, and scarf waving. Toddler Time is a 20 minute program that is geared towards children ages newborn – 3. Monday Morning Toddler Time is drop in, no pre-registration required, with a cap of 15 and will be held in the Copeland Room. Please sign in in the Children’s Room when you arrive. Tween and Teen Rabbit Rescue at Quincy Library 3:00—4:30 PM
Join us to meet some volunteers from the House Rabbit Network, and their BUNNIES! House Rabbit Rescue is an organization formed with two primary purposes: to rescue homeless rabbits and find them good, indoor homes and also to educate the public about rabbits and their care. You’ll learn about the differences between domestic and wild rabbits, find out how to care for a pet rabbit, and get to see the bunnies themselves.
Bedtime Story Hour at Abington Library 630pm
Bedtime Story Hour continues this winter and spring at the library! Kids ages 4 and up, who are able to separate from their parent/caregiver are invited to wear their coziest PJs, bring a stuffed animal friend, and join Miss Amy every Monday night at 6:30 PM. Bedtime Story Hour is thirty minutes of longer stories, songs, rhymes, and the chance to “Go Bananas!” Our Story Hour programs are funded by the Friends of the Library happens Monday thru June 27th no Monday holidays

Toddlers on the move at Weymouth Library 11am Toddlers on the Move is 45 minutes in the Children’s Program Room with Cozy Coupes cars , Steering Wheelies and Animal Hoppers. A great way for your toddler to burn off some energy while learning how to share our toys. Coloring sheets and baby friendly toys will be available for children who are waiting their turn to get moving. Space is limited, so we will take turns in playing the room if necessary.

Drop by the Wollaston Library with your preschooler, ages 3-5, any time between 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to do some fun simple science together. Activities, experiments and instructions will be provided for science you can do with your child. This month we’ll be exploring the Ocean; sorting shells, getting a close look at sand, eating like whales, and maybe even making our own waves! Each month activities, experiments and instructions will be provided on a different science topic you can do with your child.

Braintree Library Playroom Drop in Playgroup 10am Families and caregivers may stop in on Fridays anytime between 10:00 am and noon for informal fun with other young children. Little ones, ages infant to four, can enjoy Duplos, extra Train Tracks and Train Table , MagnaTiles, and puzzles.
Kick off our 2024 summer reading program on Friday, June 14th with a petting zoo from Channell Homestead! Channell Homestead will be bringing some adorable baby goats, baby bunnies, and baby chicks for you to meet and enjoy. Registration for the program is available to Hanson residents ONLY Friday, May 31 – Tuesday, June 11. If space is still available, registration will open to non-Hanson residents starting Wednesday, June 12. Please sign up by choosing a time slot on the form below. If all space is full, please add yourself to the waiting list, and we will try to accommodate as many families as possible during Channell Homestead’s visit.
