Braintree Library Storytime AT Smith Beach, at end of Edgehill Road 930am We will have Storytime at Smith Beach is located at end of Edgehill Road, East Braintree, with plenty of parking. There will be stories and songs with Miss Elisabeth, followed by a craft. Best for ages 2 1/2 – 4, but is open to all children. Bring a blanket or towel for added comfort.
Quincy Library Toy Time 10am
Come to the library for a free playtime session with your baby, ages 9- 23 months full of age appropriate toys and activities plus socializing with other children and caregivers. A fun time for all and a chance to practice large and small muscle development. This program will meet in the large meeting room from 10:00 – 11:00 am and is for children ages 9 – 23 months accompanied by an adult.
No registration required – Due to the nature of this event, it must be held indoors. Space in the Community Meeting Room is limited by fire code. In the event that we reach the safe capacity for the room, we will close the doors.

Quincy Library Life Size Whale at the Library! for ages 6+ 130pm
Come learn about the anatomy of the North Atlantic Right Whale by getting up close and personal… Inside a life-size inflatable model!Delilah is a life-sized inflatable North Atlantic right whale! Her measurements are based off of a real whale who lived along the East coast in the US and Canada. Up to 30 kids can fit inside at a time to learn about Right Whales, their habitats, habits, and anatomy. Waiting for your turn in the whale? Do a whale-themed craft or science activity! Since space inside the whale is limited, tickets will be given out prior to the event. Pick up a ticket for the 1:30 PM event starting at 1 PM and for the 2:30 event starting at 2 PM. Please only one ticket per child so we can make sure as many kids as possible get to enjoy the experience!
