The Natural Resources Trust of Easton (NRT) is free and open to individuals from the public from dawn to dusk seven days a week for people and their leashed dogs to enjoy The NRT promotes a land ethic in the community through educational programming. The NRT provides leadership, cooperation and networking to others with a similar mission.

Nature adventure birthday parties
Have your child’s next birthday party at the beautiful Sheep Pasture! Every party includes a fun, educational nature adventure program with an NRT naturalist followed by a Carriage House room rental. We offer several party options to give your child the most unique party experience they have ever had! Our professional naturalists will tailor each party to age, group size, and the specific interests of your child. Contact the education department today to design a party just for you!
Our birthday parties are only available to NRT members; a family membership may be added at the time of your booking. All of our parties start with a 45 minute educational program followed by a 45 minute room rental. The birthday child must be turning at least 2 years old.
Where to Walk and Hike and Get Fresh Air on the South Shore Boston
Walking Trails
Sheep Pasture Walk is a 1.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The walking trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Join us for a fun-filled day packed with exciting activities, delicious food, and entertainment for the whole family! Whether you’re looking to grab a bite, enjoy live music, or simply spend quality time outdoors, there’s something for everyone at this community celebration.
Grab a snack at the NRT Food Station, where hot dogs, linguiça dogs, chips, soda, water, and juice boxes will be available for purchase. Got a sweet tooth? Stop by the Have a Bite Cookie Truck for freshly baked cookies and other indulgent treats. While you snack, enjoy the sounds of DJ Brady Ibanez, who will be spinning kid-friendly tunes and hosting a dance party from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Explore local vendors and crafters, or dive into a variety of activities throughout the day. Join Bubbles McGee for some bubbly fun, get hands-on at the planting station sponsored by G. Norwood, or let your creativity shine by decorating and flying a kite. The Children’s Museum will be offering face painting, and you can contribute to a collaborative art project at the Community Loom, sponsored by Auntie Zaza. For the curious and adventurous, don’t miss the Touch-a-Truck experience—or kick back and enjoy a scenic hayride through Sheep Pasture.
Tickets are $20 per family of five, with a $5 charge for each additional person. Tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the event. Free onsite parking is located at 261 Main Street in Easton. Please note that dogs are not allowed at the event, with the exception of ADA-defined service animals.
