Lighting of the Green & Christmas Parade 2023 in Taunton MA
The Lights On theme is Christmas Around the World . Downtown Taunton will be lit for the holiday season, with the city’s 110th Lights On festival kicking things off on Saturday December 2nd and the Taunton parade on Sunday. The official ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m. with the lighting of the Taunton Green. There will be live entertainment, various activities hosted by local businesses and organizations in the downtown area, a fireworks display, food vendors, and more. The lights will be on through January 1st. Bring the kids for a fun weekend event
NEW THIS YEAR!! Taunton Green Friday, Saturday & Sun Dec 8-23rd there will be Victorian Christmas Carolers from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Fridays & Saturdays while you enjoy the beautiful decorations on Taunton Green, here in the Christmas City! The city of taunton will take your photo or you maybe use your own camera
Lights On buttons are required for indoor activities and for some of the outdoor activities such as train rides. Buttons cost $5 each and are not required for children 12 and under

The Christmas parade will start at noon on Sunday, December 3rd, on Broadway, and will follow Broadway to downtown Taunton. The parade will end near Marian Manor on Summer Street.
