Toddler Storytime at Pembroke Library 1030am repeats weekly  thru the end of June 

Rockland Library Tots & Tunes  1030am  Please join us for stories, songs, flannelboard stories and stamps!  This program is geared for babies and toddlers ages 0-3. Older children and siblings are welcome!  repeats weekly thru May 20th except for  Monday holidays.

Duxbury Library  Music & Movement!  1030 & 11am  sessions Move & groove with shakers, scarves and rhythm sticks! Geared toward age 2-4. Caregiver presence required.  Repeats thru June 10th except for Monday holidays

Abington Library  1030am  Toddler time is continuing on Monday morning! Join Miss Sandy (or Miss Heidi or Mrs. Grimmett) on Monday morning at 10:30 AM for a few short stories, songs, puppet visits, egg shaking, and scarf waving. Toddler Time is a 20 minute program that is geared towards children ages newborn – 3. Monday Morning Toddler Time is drop in, no pre-registration required, with a cap of 15 and will be held in the Copeland Room. Please sign in in the Children’s Room when you arrive.  Toddler Times are funded by the Friends of the Library.     happens Monday thru June 27th  no Monday holidays

 

Kids Eat Free at Towne Tavern & Treehouse Pembroke

Cohasset Library  Lego Club   4pm Join us for an hour of building with LEGO®s. Completed projects will be put on display in the Children’s Room. All ages and communities welcome.  Repeats Monday except for school vacation weeks thru May 20th

Bedtime Story Hour at Abington Library 630pm
Bedtime Story Hour continues this winter and spring at the library! Kids ages 4 and up, who are able to separate from their parent/caregiver are invited to wear their coziest PJs, bring a stuffed animal friend, and join Miss Amy every Monday night at 6:30 PM. Bedtime Story Hour is thirty minutes of longer stories, songs, rhymes, and the chance to “Go Bananas!” Our Story Hour programs are funded by the Friends of the Library  happens Monday thru June 27th  no Monday holidays

Wiggleworms Storytime at Ames Free Library Easton 1030am 
Awestruck toddler, eyes filled with wonder, with wings and an inchworm on her shoulder.
Best for mobile toddlers, Wiggleworms features songs, rhymes, and a story or two to keep little ones engaged. This program meets every Tuesday at 10:30am with Miss Alyisha in the Children’s Room and runs for about 30 minutes. No registration is required and all families are welcome!  Repeats weekly except for school vacation weeks thru the end of May

Kids Yoga with Kim Spires at Scituate Library  1030am
Drop-in Program for Children Ages 2-6 along with Their Caregiver: Connect with your children through story, music and movement to introduce yoga and mindfulness. Children will adore acting out stories via yoga poses and playing mindfulness games. Adults will learn techniques to use in their own homes to ease big emotions, sensory challenges and anxiety.

This child focused class is best suited for ages 2-6, but all ages are welcome. Led by Kim Spires, Inspire Kids Yoga.

LEGO Builder Club  at Hanson Library  4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
CALLING ALL MASTER BUILDERS! Join us to create and connect with new friends! Each week we will host a new theme and then display our works in the library lobby cases. The challenge this week: build something with a movable feature   Drop in, preregistration not required. This is not a librarian led program. Young children must be supervised by an assigned caregiver at all times.

Grab this toddler busy book! It covers 16 themes, including numbers, alphabet, food & drink, fruits, animals, colors, shapes and more. Each themes can enrich the child’s knowledge base
PJ Storytime  North Quincy Library  – Ages 1-5  6:30—7:00 PM
Join us at the North Quincy Branch on the second Tuesday of each month for an evening pajama storytime for the whole family! Children ages 1-5 will particularly enjoy this storytime, as we’ll sing songs, read books, recite rhymes, and more!

Braintree Library Family Yoga for Little Ones 10:15am Join experienced yoga instructor Jennifer Lyn to stretch and breath deep. Jennifer returns with session of mindfulness, relaxation, games and simple yoga poses for kids. This class will be fun and engaging for kids 1-5 years old. Siblings are welcome.  Please bring a yoga mat, towel or use a library carpet square. Registration is encouraged, please register separately for each week you would like to attend. The registration form is below. This program, as are all programs at the library, is free.  Instructor Jennifer Lyn is the owner of Nutured Roots LLC and is an experienced Wellness Coach, Yoga and Mindfulness Instructor. repeats weekly thru May 22nd    Program made possible by the use of State Aid Funds  Non Braintree residents allowed.

Babytime storytime at Easton Public Library 1030am 
Best for infants and prewalkers, Babytime is storytime for littles – and their grownups! This session is full of songs, rhymes, and lap games – and maybe a short book – to fire up those babies’ brains. Babytime meets every Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Miss Hannah in the Children’s Room and runs for about 20 minutes. Siblings are welcome and are encouraged to bring their own “baby” doll or stuffed animal. No registration is required, and all families are welcome! repeats weekly thru June 5th

Braintree Public Library Baby and Me Movement & Mindfulness 11am
Join Jennifer Lynn for this Baby & Me Movement and Mindfulness class. Jennifer offers a warm and supportive environment for parents and caregiver to connect with their infants, as well as with other adults in their community, through gentle movement, song and discussion.  Class is for newborn babies to pre-crawling and their parent/caregiver.  Registration is encouraged, please register for each week you would like to attend. Class is free and baby does not need to be a Braintree resident to attend.  Presented by Jennifer Lynn, owner of Nutured Roots, LLC. Preschool Discovery Adams Shore  branch Quincy – Ages 3-5  3:00—4:00 PM Drop by the Adams Shore Library with your preschooler, ages 3-5, any time between 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to do some fun simple science together. Activities, experiments and instructions will be provided for science you can do with your child. Come build with us to explore simple engineering activities. Make block towers, send marbles down ramps, and try to make a bridge out of paper and cardboard.  Each month activities, experiments and instructions will be provided on a different science topic you can do with your child.

For Children Ages 0-5 Along with Their Caregivers*  Mamasteph brings her traditional children’s songs for sing-alongs and musical stories to the Scituate Town Library!  *FREE TICKETS ARE REQUIRED to attend this program on a first come, first served basis. Starting the Monday before the program, stop by the library to get tickets anytime during our normal business hours. Please note that tickets often go quickly and will likely not be available the day of the program. Ticket pick up is limited to six (6) per patron.  This program is generously funded by the Friends of Scituate Town Library.

Braintree Library Playroom Drop in Playgroup 10am   Families and caregivers may stop in on Fridays anytime between 10:00 am and noon for informal fun with other young children. Little ones, ages infant to four, can enjoy Duplos, extra Train Tracks and Train Table , MagnaTiles, and puzzles.
