Quincy Library  Puppet Tales with Leigh Ages 3 -7  10am
Join us at the Main Library where Through Me To You Puppetry invites you to join Newton and his puppet friends for some storytime fun! Newton and his friends take turns reading stories and singing songs with the kids. At the end of the show, the kids are invited to say “hi” to Newton. Our half-hour show is geared to ages 3-7, but all are welcome!

Sunshine Stories and Songs 🌞at Rockland Library 1030am 
Join us on the library lawn for stories and songs followed by hand stamps!  All ages.  In the event of inclement weather we will meet inside end August 11th

Pembroke Library  Storytime 1030am
Toddlers (ages 2 to 5) and their caregivers can enjoy an interactive storytime with songs, dances, and a story that encourages language development and social skills. Each themed storytime is followed by a craft.  Repeats weekly except for Monday holidays

Top 10 LEGO sets for preschoolers 

Flying High Dogs at Plymouth Library 1230pm
Flying High Dogs is returning for another fun filled program! Join us with Mike Piazza and his Flying High Dogs on the front lawn. Show is very family friendly and will include a variety of frisbee & other entertaining tricks, as well as some audience participation! No registration required. Please note that bringing your own dogs to program is strongly discouraged for safety reasons. For all ages.
Drop in Crafts @ Adams Shore  Quincy Library Ages 3-8 1-5pm   Stop by the Adams Shore Branch on Monday afternoons to do some crafting. Each week we’ll have a new craft.   Repeats all summer!

Norwell Public Library  Monday Matinée Movie: The Angry Birds Movie 2pm
Beat the heat and catch a movie! This week’s selection is The Angry Birds Movie (2016) rated PG. A synopsis is available here. Bring a blanket to sit on and snacks if you wish– but please no peanut products. No registration. Caregivers must remain with children under the age of 8.

Outdoor Storytime for Children at French’s Common by Braintree Library 10am   Held at French’s Common. Storytime with Miss Elisabeth. Best for ages 2 1/2 – 4, but open to all children. Bring a towel or blanket for added comfort. Followed by Arts in the Parks Storywalk and Craft, presented by Historic New England staff. French’s Common.is located across the street from the library, next to Town Hall. In case of rain, Storytime will be held inside the Children’s Room of the Library.

Plymouth Splash Pad 10am

Quincy Library  Children’s Concert with Little Groove for ages 0-5  10am
Join us on Tuesday July 22 at 10:00 for a concert especially for children ages 0-5 by Little Groove.  In this fun and interactive 40-minute concert, children ages 0-5 and their caregivers will move and sing along with a musician from Little Groove. Children use real instruments such as drums, shakers, and tambourines, giving them a hands-on experience and fostering a love for music.  Space is limited and the doors will be closed when the room is full.

Discover all the cool things birds can do and try out a pair of binoculars with Mass Audubon!

Pitter Patter Puppet Show at Braintree Library 2pm 
Pitter Patter Puppets come to Braintree. Puppetry performed by Mary Wilson. This interactive puppet variety show is sure to entertain children age 2 up and their families. Limited to the first 25 children to arrive, and their families. Tickets for free admission will be given out, starting 30 minutes before the show. No Registration taken. Held in Logan Auditorium.

Get ready for a fun and educational adventure with America’s favorite forest friend! Come meet Smokey Bear and join DCR Forest Fire Control to learn about outdoor fire safety and hear The True Story of Smokey Bear, read by special guest Hanson Fire Chief Robert O’Brien. Summer Science with Tidmarsh: Meet a Reptile (Snakes)  Plymouth Library 10am
Come to the Manomet Branch to cool off with a Mass Audubon educator and learn about the fascinating science of the where we live! Kids will listen to a quick breakdown of a topic about local science and then either make a craft, play a game, or get to interact with some live animals afterwards. Topics are youth-friendly and designed for kids 3 and older. Today’s topic is: Snakes and reptiles. Meet one of Mass Audubon’s reptile friends! Bring any and all your questions about reptiles.  **This program involves a live animal**

Bridgewater Library 10am  STREAM with Easton Children’s Museum | Kite Day: A Bear & Mole Story  Join Easton Children’s Museum’s program, STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, Mathematics). They’ve added the “R” for reading! By incorporating literacy into the programming, we are promoting critical thinking and creativity with your little one! Join us for story time with a related activity to follow every Thursday morning this summer.  This week we will be reading Kite Day: A Bear & Mole Story and doing two activities based on the story  This program is for ages preschool to grade 2.

Miss Ari returns to Thayer Public Library’s children’s room to turn singing & dancing into learning & play! With live music featuring ukulele and guitar, it’s faced paced: designed to keep everyone from infants to 5 year olds (and even parents) entertained! She covers classic nursery rhymes, colors and the alphabet while using shaker eggs, dance scarves and always says “See You Later” with BUBBLES!

Animal World Experience at Hull Public library 10am  Enjoy as Matt Gabriel of Animal World Experience showcases some of his amazing animals! Hear about the animals, and get an opportunity to engage with them!   We will meet outside on the library lawn!

Abington Library  Mad Science Presents: Fire and Ice 2pm
Scientists from the Mad Science group are stopping by the library for a spectacular show that is sure to thrill our patrons with impressive science experiments. This program will include foggy dry ice storms, shivering scissors and special bubbly showers, and a demonstration of how giant beach balls can float in the air!  This program is for kids entering kindergarten and up. Registration is required

Quincy Library  Experimentation Station for ages 6-8 3pm 
A spin off of our monthly STEAM Team, this program will include several different STEM stations for kids entering 1st – 3rd graders in September to explore! Through building challenges, experiments, and games your child will have a chance to discover the world of STEM!

Braintree Library Playroom Drop in Playgroup 10am    Families and caregivers may stop in on Fridays anytime between 10:00 am and noon for informal fun with other young children. Little ones, ages infant to four, can enjoy Duplos, extra Train Tracks and Train Table , MagnaTiles, and puzzles.

Join us every Friday morning at 10:30 in the gazebo at the Sumner Field Playground beginning May 30th thru Sept 5th except for July 4th . Enjoy stories, music, movement, and various outdoor activities with your little ones.  Storytime is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers, but every age can get something great out of Storytime!
