Abington Library  Sunflower Story Hour  1030am
Join Miss Amy for a pop up story hour on June 10th at 10:30 AM! Children and their grownups are invited to listen to a few flower-themed stories and rhymes. Afterward, everyone will get the chance to plant their very own sunflower seeds and take their pots home to watch them grow over the summer! This program is best suited for children ages 0-5 and their grownups. Our story hours are funded by the Friends of the Library.

Preschool Discovery @Adams Shore  branch Quincy Library – Ages 3-5 3pm
Drop by the Adams Shore Library with your preschooler, ages 3-5, any time between 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to do some fun simple science together. Activities, experiments and instructions will be provided for science you can do with your child. Each month activities, experiments and instructions will be provided on a different science topic you can do with your child.

Cohasset Library Awesome Robb’s Awesome Pirate Show 4pm Discover the roar of laughter when Captain Robbie Bones shows up with a chest full of Magic and Juggling Apparatus. See how quickly children and adults become shipmates of this must have party entertainer. Captain Robbie Bones quickly takes full charge of your gathering and educates them on how to speak pirate and laugh like a rog

Mini Golf Through the Library Abington 4pm  Back by popular demand is mini golf at the library! Have you ever imagined what a mini golf course throughout the entire library would look like?! On Wednesday, June 24th, the APL will be transformed into a huge mini golf course for patrons of all ages to play. Our friends from One-Up Games will be here to set up an elaborate 18-hole course and provide all materials for friends and family to come and enjoy! This is a drop-in event; registration is not required. Funds for this program have been provided by the Friends of the Library.

Hingham Library  Music & Movement with Ms. Rebecca |  1030am 
Join Miss Rebecca for a class filled with music and movement. Rebecca is a musician who has a background in theater, music and improv. She is bringing her multiple talents to our library. Sing along to original songs and family favorites. This is a great program for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Gentle reminder: food is not permitted at Music & Movement.  repeats thru the end of June

Abington Library  Circle of Songs with Hugh Hanley  1030am 

Early childhood educator, music specialist, and entertainer Hugh Hanley returns to the Abington Public Library for one of our favorite programs! Circle of Songs is a fifty-minute program consisting of songs, finger-plays, rhymes and other fun activities. We might even get to sing a few of our toddler time favorites! This program is geared towards kids ages 0-5. Registration is required and begins (in person) on June 8th. Online registration will begin on June 15th. This program is funded by the Anderson Foundation.

Baby Lapsit babies to 2 yr old Pembroke Library 1030amDesigned for babies and toddlers from 6 to 24 months, Lapsits are a great chance for caregivers to bond with their child. Each 30-minute program includes stretches, songs, and rhymes followed by an open play time that allows babies to play and grown-ups to chat. repeats thru  the end of June  Kids and toddler events

Quincy Library  Percy Palooza for ages 7 – 13  1pm 
Join us for an afternoon of Percy Jackson-themed fun!  We’ll be starting the afternoon by dividing into groups based on the gods of Ancient Greece, then we’ll have games and crafts, followed a showing of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.  This event is appropriate for children ages 7 – 13 years old. The movie is two hours long and rated PG.

Cohasset Library 1030am Open Play   NEW at the library!! Come to the Meeting Room every Friday morning from 10:30-11:30 for some unstructured Open Play! Make music, build with blocks, put on your own puppet show – let your creativity and imagination shine!  Caregivers must remain with children AT ALL TIMES. Best suited for children aged 0-5 but all are welcome. No registration required.  repeats all friday except for July 3rd until August 21st
