ABC Storytime @North Quincy Library  for ages 3-5  10am  In this storytime series for preschoolers we will explore a different letter of the alphabet each time we meet. We’ll read stories, sing songs and play games all centered around the letter of the day, including our favorite game: Mystery Bag! Repeats weekly thru Dec 11th

Puppet Story Time with Leigh and Friends  Cohasset Library  1030am  Enter the West Wing through the Children’s Room for big book adventures and more! All ages welcome. Funded by the Friends of the Cohasset Library.

Duxbury Library   1030am  & 11am Move & groove with shakers, scarves and rhythm sticks! Geared toward age 2-4. Caregiver presence required.

Tuesday December 5th   things to do South Shore Boston MA

Babies morning out  East Bridgewater Library 930am We form a small playgroup for babies on Tuesday mornings. Play with toys, listen to music, play an instrument and then finally we pop bubbles! Great fun for babies and great socializing for caregivers!  Runs December 5 & 12 from 9:30-10:10 a.m.

Baby Butterflies at Weymouth Public Library 930am  Stories and songs for children ages 0-3. Registration is required for each day you plan on attending.   repeats weekly until Dec 5th

Toddler Storytime @Adams Shore  Branch Quincy Library 10am  for ages 2-3 Join Miss Lori for Toddler Storytime at Adams Shore! This program for two- and three-year-olds and their caregivers introduces simple stories and concepts to young children. Songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and felt board activities will be used to reinforce concepts. runs weekly until 12/12

Mamasteph, music for young children  at Cohasset Library 1030am 

Triumph Music and Movement  at Raynham Library  10:45am  Miss Kelly will engage you and your child (ages 3-5) with song, music, and dance. Create wonderful music as you learn about a variety of styles. Explore through movement and fun educational games.  This program is presented in partnership with Triumph Inc’s Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) Program. Toddler Storytime at Pembroke Library 1030am repeat weekly 

Move & Groove Storytime (Ages 4 and under) at Hingham Library 1030am Tuesday & Thursday interactive Storytimes are perfect for young children. These fast-paced Storytimes include fun stories, music, movement, and a big finish with bubbles! This program is suitable for children ages 4 and under with their caregiver. Gentle reminder: food is not permitted at Storytime.  Registration is now required for our Tuesday and Thursday storytimes and will open on Monday at 10am each week.

Toddler Craftermorning at Duxbury Library  repeats thru the end of December  Drop in between 10:30 –12 to the Children’s Program Room for a craft just for toddlers! Recommended age 2–4 with caregiver.

Middleboro Library Lego club   345pm Drop in the Large Meeting Room for Lego Afternoon from 3:45-4:45 p.m.  Create a Lego masterpiece using the Library’s bricks.  Space is first come, first served.  This program is supported by the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library repeats weekly thru 12/12
Caregivers and children ages 0-5 are invited to a playdate at the Hanson Public Library! Join us anytime between 4:00pm and 5:30pm for some unstructured play featuring puzzles, coloring, train table, activity cube, and more. Drop in for an afternoon of fun and meet some new friends!

Braintree Library  Family Yoga for Little Ones 1015am  Join experienced yoga instructor Jennifer Lyn to stretch and breath deep. Jennifer returns with session of mindfulness, relaxation, games and simple yoga poses for kids. This class will be fun and engaging for kids 1-5 years old. Siblings are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat, towel or use a library carpet square .Registration is encouraged, please register separately for each week you would like to attend   Repeats weekly thru Dec 20th

Big Ryan’s Toddler show at Bridgewater Public Library 103am Come in and have some fun with Big Ryan! Big Ryan’s toddler program focuses on Puppet Play and Music and Movement. Due to the unpredictability and short attention spans of very young children these programs usually run about 25 to 30 minutes. No registration required.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Bridgewater Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

Story Time at East Bridgewater Library 1030am On Wednesdays, we meet in the community room to enjoy some thematic stories, with related/favorite rhymes and songs. Stay afterwards for play time with our new friends.

Braintree Library Baby & Me Movement & Mindfulness 11am
Join Jennifer Lynn for this Baby & Me Movement and Mindfulness class. Jennifer offers a warm and supportive environment for parents and caregivers to connect with their infants, as well as with other adults in their community, through gentle movement, song and discussion. Class is for newborn babies to pre-crawling and their parent/caregiver. Registration is encouraged, please register for each week you would like to attend. Class is free and baby does not need to be a Braintree resident to attend . Today’s session will be in the Children’s Room.  Repeats weekly thru Dec 20th

East Bridgewater  Library Free Friday lego Play  Join us on Fridays, 9 AM – 4:45 PM for Free LEGO Play.  No registration. Drop in program. repeats thru 12/15

Braintree Library Playroom Drop in Playgroup 10am   Families and caregivers may stop in on Fridays anytime between 10:00 am and noon for informal fun with other young children. Little ones, ages infant to four, can enjoy Duplos, extra Train Tracks and Train Table , MagnaTiles, and puzzles.

Mama Steph at Scituate Library 10am Mamasteph brings her traditional children’s songs for sing-alongs and musical stories to the Scituate Town Library!  *FREE TICKETS ARE REQUIRED to attend this program on a first come, first served basis. Starting the Monday before the program, stop by the library to get tickets anytime during our normal business hours. Please note that tickets often go quickly and will likely not be available the day of the program. Ticket pick up is limited to six (6) per patron.
